Building on 22 years of experience, Ty has specialized in Retirement Planning and Retirement Asset Management. Believing that a sound financial plan should evaluate Social Security options, tax strategies and the latest investment tools, Ty strives to bring the many complex factors of financial planning to a concise straight forward course of action. In addition to a 6-step planning process, Ty emphasizes the follow-up and monitoring of his client’s financial needs.
A native of the Carolinas, Ty resides in Fort Mill, SC with his wife, Jeannie, and children Zach, Luke, and CeCe. Outside of work he enjoys swimming, trail running, mountain biking, sailing and golf.

As a percussionist in high school I made my way from last chair to first chair, won state championships each year that I was there, and eventually became the drum captain. I also participated in percussion ensemble at Winthrop University.
My mother gave birth to me in her mid-40’s and my dad was retired before I started high school.
